June 28, 2023: San Antonio Express-News editorial staff wins the Society of Professional Journalists’ national prize for editorial writing. largest digital expansion ever for the group, following significant subscription
growth in 2021. The group closed the year with more than 300,000 paid 
digital-only subscriptions, an increase of 100,000, or 50%, from the year

the company to enhance benefits for employees. The company invests $22
